On my 2006 YZ125, the back end of the bike looks lower than the front end. it does not appear to sit level. when i lift up on the back fender it lifts about 1-1/2 inches. and when i let go it sags back down that same amount. how can i adjust this so that it does not sag so much and get it to stay up where it belongs
take hammer and a long punch to turn the spanner nut on the top of the rear shock spring (bottom spanner nut, there are two, the top one is a locking nut that you might have to loosen a little bit) to compress the spring. this will force the rear of the bike upward by compressing the spring.
Personally, I chose my bike because it’s the top end of honda’s line (I’m a dedicated red rider). Ever since i seen the bike back in 2001, I thought it was just gorgeous, and the tech specs were nothing to sneeze at either…
And the price, UNBEATABLE…
You cannot find another bike as fast, as nimble, as comfortable, as pretty, AND as reliable for anywhere near what I paid for mine…
Why did you choose your bike?
only Vtwin sportsbike Honda made
it’s sexy, rides smooth, sounds incredible, race proven, won multiple championships on the race track, plus it’s a HONDA you can’t go wrong with a HONDA…

i chose my bike because i have looked at several bikes and its the one i’ve wanted for quite a while. i don’t care about going super fast, i fear for my safety if i had the ability to. its a beautiful bike, fit and finish like no other. its the last year of the evo motor, which was also the last year of the rigid mount, non counter balanced motor. the newer ones just seem a little too “civilized” for me. it feels like i think a motorcycle should feel when you ride it. its not totally smooth, i feel a lot of wind, etc. and the blacked out motor just looks badass.

I picked the bike I have because I like the style/look of it. I like how it rides, performs (after a few fixed engineering flaws) and SOUNDS. I like setting off car alarms in pricey neighborhoods! It is comfortable and has all the power I need. I was GOING to buy a Honda VTX (I too am a big fan of the Honda), but then I saw the Indian Dealer. Being from MA and knowing Indian’s history, I was drawn to the iconic American brand. My motorcycle’s uniqueness turns heads more than any other bike I’ve seen, and that is probably my favorite thing about my bike. On any given day you can see 20 100th Anniversary Harleys, one of my buddies has one. Its a nice bike for sure, but when we ride together, he complains that my bike gets all the attention!
Indian, America’s FIRST production motorcycle! Yeah, it may have had a long hiatus, but Indian went under because it stopped commercial production to make bikes for our troops. I’m okay with that. Back in business this fall!

I have a 2003 Indian Sprit Springfield, black. Less than 500 ever made. Yeah, it has an S&S motor, but I know Harley’s without a Harley motor too. Its still US made and Indian Heritage!

Honda’s Gold Wing is unique, basically a 2 wheeled Buick. I enjoy the ride and have 100,250 miles on it ( an 04). It is super comfortable and 700 mile days are fairly easy to do and 900miles is possible. I enjoy riding. To me, I bought my bike to go see not to be seen. I’m going to ride it, not look at it. Have fun whatever you ride, enjoy the hobby. Protect it from the politicians. Join an organized group that works on cycle issues

I wanted the torque of a large V-twin with the classic styling of a classic bike. It’s a blend of old school looks and simplicity with new school parts and reliability. I also wanted the satisfaction of saying I built it myself. That way, I’m not just quoting stuff I read in a brochure at the dealership.
Home made rigid chopper with 100″ engine, 6 speed tranny, 3″ open primary, ape hangers, and upswept straight pipes.
I had a 2001 Honda Shadow 1100. I was definately not impressed.

The dealer started up my first bike on the shop floor and I bought it right on the spot. That was forty years ago and I still ride the same make and model. There have been other machines (cruisers and sport bikes) during that time and the original bike is long gone only to be replaced with a nicely refurbished copy. I love it for the sound - the ride - and the shear pleasure of just looking at it. It could use better brakes but somehow a disc brake on the front just would not look ‘right’. As a plus, no one I’ve ever met on the road has a similar machine. My bike, like myself, is unique.

I have a 1977 BMW air head and I got that because I did not want to ride a harley like everyone else. I have always had “different ” bikes. Before that I had a 67 Triumph Bonneville and before that I had a 71 Norton Commando
I also have a little Ninja 250 I ride to work to save on gas
……..
searched all over the place, it’s the only black harley I could find….lol.
Actually, I wanted another big bike to replace a road king that I had. I love the way the FLH’s go down the road. IMO, they can’t be beat for overall comfort, style and looks.
I just bought a 2002 palomino popup. We’re going camping for a week, and they have no hook ups. My question is how do I go about adding a 12v battery so I can use the light, maybe a couple of outlets. It dosn’t have a battery system right now
Since you say it has 12V interior lights & 12V outlets then I would assume it has a 12V fuse box or panel, normally powered off of the tow vehicle. Use a battery box to install a 12V deep-cycle battery on the trailer tongue. Ground the new battery to the trailer frame. Run an 8 or 10 gage wire from the positive battery terminal, through a fuse or circuit breaker [30 or 40 amps] to the input side of the above mentioned fuse panel. When the trailer is pluggged into the tow vehicle, with engine running, voltage at the trailer battery should be within .5V of tow vehicle battery [12.8-14.5V], that shows that it is getting charged during tow.
……………….
When you say pop up I take it you mean like a trailer tent.If your on a tow hook with the standard seven wire plug, you can utilise the rear fog light wire to a splitter relay, which you then run to a second battery to charge whilst towing. The majority of alternator output goes to earth unwanted so there is always plenty to go round. You will need a diagram and a relay to show the method of wiring.Good luck

yur going rough camping.
A 12 volt battery for a few lights would be fine—u can use 12 volt brake light bulbs for a lot of light when it is dark there. But make sure u puta fuse on the line to be safe. so u have the battery,,then one of those in=line fuse adapters ( from the suto store) and then the wire with a few socket adapters for the bulbs. I would use the the older type socket bulbs with the brass twist socket. i think the parts and the bulbs are cheaper. A marine type battery will last a lot longer.
you hook up the lightsockets in parralell,(,so u dont bleed off the voltage and the end light becomes dim.)
……..
First, you have to have a way to charge it. It won’t last a week. If you had a decent solar charger to charge it during the day, maybe. You’d need a regulator for the charger, and the battery should be a marine type deep cycle battery.
Most people who want to put letterings on their trucks or boats go to companies who specialize in custom-paint jobs. These businesses often make rip off deals especially if the truck or boat owner does not know the current rates for lettering services. To avoid unnecessary waste of money and time, it sometimes better to just do things on your own.
There are now many DIY lettering packages (that come with comprehensive installation instructions) in the market. Vinyl letterings are the most commonly used type of stickers. Here are some of the materials that you would need to do the job:
· Wet release system letters (for perfect installation)
· A plastic squeegee—that would be used to press down the letters and avoid the accumulation of air pockets
You would need the same materials as the one’s needed for boats (the wet system release is also highly advisable). If it is your choice to do the dry installation, be forewarned as you only have a single chance to apply the letters. Wet application system allows for adjustments and there are fewer chances of folds or bubbles during the installation.
Now that you know the materials, it’s time to go out there and start with the installation—all you would need is a sunny weather and everything’s good to go.
If you would like to increase the functional value of your truck, you should equip it with the right accessories such as the nerf bars for truck. But what are nerf bars? To most people nerf bars are metal side steps. These are those tubular bars that are placed on the undersides of your truck to serve as steps so you’d find it easy to get in and out of your truck.
Nerf bars for trucks are great for providing safety to children and older people who get in and out of the truck. Trucks, by nature, have high-ground clearance so you’d be able to provide maximum safety to your kids when they have nerf bars to step on to.
Aside from the ease of getting in and out of the truck, you’d be able to give protection to the vehicle’s body. Online, you can find all sorts of nerf bars. From stainless steel nerf bars, chrome bars or powder-coated nerf bars, they come in different sizes, shapes and designs.
The nerf bars for trucks are commonly referred to as boss bars or step bars. If you want to maximize your truck’s functionality, you should definitely place nerf bars on your truck. Having them allows you to protect your truck from the dangers of severe weather conditions or while you are traversing dangerous road tracks. With nerf bars, you are assured of extra protection during frontal or side collision. GP

Women rarely set aside time for themselves, so it is particularly important you take the time you need, with a vacation. Self indulgence isn’t something to be ashamed of, in fact you will be much healthier because of it. Most women report having great fun when traveling alone. They prefer to spend less time sitting around, and more time doing. And doing a lot on a trip opens the door to more chance encounters and fun activities. Women also use guidebooks, enroll in escorted tours, research more and often know precisely what they want to do. Women find that upon returning from their first trip solo, they feel they have accomplished a certain something.
