How often did you get your babies pictures done profesionally.?
I’ve had my son’s done once when he was two months and was planning on waiting until he could set up on his own to due the next.
Is there any certain way some people do it?
Traditionally, pics are done as newborns, 2 mo, 6 mo, 9 mo, 12 mo, 18 mo, 2 yr and then yearly….I suppose that features the big milestones, smiling sitting up, standing walking, etc….like you I have hundreds of pics so we did newborn, 6 months and then will do a year..

I’ve had my daughter’s done once, when she was about 5 weeks old…I hated it. My brother (amateur photographer with a professional camera) now takes all of her pictures. He took her newborn pictures and they came out awesome. After the bad experience getting them done professionally I just decided to have him do it. It’s much easier and they come out better anyway…and they’re a lot cheaper to order - we order from www.pephoto.com . I highly recommend getting a really good camera and doing them on your own. You can take them more often and spend less and get better pics since you know your baby better. It isn’t for everyone, but I really like being able to capture every age and stage.
