Is readymix better than localmix concrete?
As Colin stated, that is a definite yes for the standard home repair person.
For an experienced concrete layer/mixer that has it down to a fine science and/or habit, they may like the localmix because they can blend it to their specific use as needed.
For general purposes, though, readimix is the better choice.

they are both basicly the same, except one comes in a bag it your local DIY hardware store, and the other if your talking about your local delever cement company, deals in high volume work, not just a few shovels full to burry a post or something!!! BUT to do large areas such as cement floors, foundations, driveways…. You see the diff , Now?
