Ladies, would you mind if…?
your man listened to classic rock? I know it isn’t “in” or whatever, but it’s still great! But would it annoy you too much to be with someone who listens to it?
No, I wouldn’t mind at all. The only thing I would mind is if you start correcting minor details and when she doesn’t know everything about Classic Rock. I mean, I listen to Rock and a whole wide range of music. So I don’t know any specific genre incredibly well. I listen and observe. What I hate is when someone corrects all minor details in something. I mean, if it’s something like she thought Led Zeppelin was a person (Which has happened), or that The Beatles did “Rock ‘n Roll High School” then that’s fine. But if you’re starting to ramble on it, and when she says something about the band that’s a little off you automatically correct her, then it’s obnoxious. And actually, around where I live, Classic Rock is currently what’s ‘in’ for guys.

I listen to just about everything and classic rock is just that: Classic! It never goes old and if a girl is “embarrassed” to be with you then dump her and find someone better! That’s an insanely stupid reason to not be with a guy in the first place.. just because you like the good stuff and not the teeny-bopper stuff that has diseased the FM stations!

Unless the girl and you are sitting in a car, and you would want to listen to classic rock, and the girl would be me, I would need earphones and an iPod, and hopefuly the volume on the iPod goes WAY up.

haha nah. I don’t really mind whatever type of music he listens to. classic rock isn’t even that bad.
my boyfriend listens to a lot of ska…and I mean, it’s not my favorite genre, but I’ll listen to it willingly =]

My man listens to all types of music, he actually introduced me to stuff i haven’t or wouldn’t even care to listen to before.
