ello, i need Diet help
im 15 years old. with a weight that verys between 127-130 lbs. i have a 27 inch waist & a 34 inch hip mesurment. i want to lose 5-10 pounds and keep it off. ive started exersizeing for maybe 20 min. a day (i started 3 days ago) . i run and do about 130 crunches. im a veggitarian so i eat mainly veggies and food thats filled with protein. but i also eat alot of carbs. with this knowledge what do you think i can do to lose the weight before school starts. (aug. 20th) im aware im not fat. but im not in shape either. i want to be tone and get rid of some flab. (under my arms and in my ab and thigh areas) any help is apreciated. THANKS!

one of the best mehods i found to get rid of my extra weight and tone up my body is running, eating balanced meals, pushups, butterflies, situps, and just plain old swimming.. working out in a community pool or normal pool actually does wonders for the fitness of your body.

being a vegitarian has its uses. But you need PROTIEN. Which is in meat, or you should get protein shakes. Our bodies arent ment to live off plants alone. You are having a hard time losing weight because you dont have the full amount of neutrition. Your body runs on a less reliable fuel source which makes burning fat harder. Chances are because of the lack o protein you may be burning fat and muscle which is unhealthy. Drink protien shakes and continue exersise. Or just eat some meat :P

Your weight sounds healthy for a girl your height. Concentrate on exercises to tone your muscles in your problem areas - crunches/sit ups, Push Ups, weights, etc.
